Our Little Bugs

As soon as I saw the BEE costume at Old Navy I knew that's what Mason would choose! Jaxon well I thought the Spider was pretty darn cute! Therefore we really did have two little bugs for Halloween.

Jack O Lanterns

The fall fun begins with carving pumpkins for Halloween all Mason wanted was a scary pumpkin, so he and dad worked hard to get it just right with circle eyes and all! Jaxon was quite amused to watch and try to get his hands into the pumpkin goo!

Jaxon is 6 Months Old!

Jaxon had his 6 month check up! He weighs a whopping 18 lbs & 15 oz & measures 27 & 3/4 inches. I can't believe how much he has been growing. He is loving to eat most baby foods we have tried and seems to want to eat what we're having for dinner too! Jaxon isn't quite ready to sit by himself yet but he loves to be standing up so he can see what's going on.

My Three Handsome Boys!

We somehow got some perfect weather for fishing this fall as we headed in for the day the two little boys helped dad get the boat back in to the marina! It was a lovely outing, oh and our total fish caught, 5!

Family Time

Man I enjoyed the time I got to spend with my family this weekend, we went to a Bee's Game on Saturday and then Mom fixed a Low Country Boil and Corn Fritters for Sunday dinner! We may not see each other often but when we do it is a great time!!

Jaxon is 5 Months Old

Jaxon has been rolling since 4 months old and is good at pushing himself with his toes when he is on his belly. But here we are now and he is now 5 months old, I can't even believe it! For the most part he is a happy little guy, smiling when he gets kisses or gets to look at himself in the mirror. He is also very ticklish and is very content to watch Mason, Whitey, and Marshall. I can tell though he can't wait to get his little hands on Whitey and Marshall!

Go UTES!

The boys sported their Ute T's when they stayed home with Grandma Charlie while Andy and I went to our first home game! And well, the Utes did it they won their first home game beating USU 35 to 17!

Jaxon loves to Laugh!

A Day at Discovery Gateway

Last week we took Mason to Discovery Gateway for some inside fun. It was great! If you can imagine all the toys a child could possibly want to play with, that's what it's like! So many toys and activities to explore and only a few hours before nap time! Jaxon also came along for the ride. Then we stopped for a cool treat before heading home for that much needed nap.

Mason got his first set of golf clubs

Mason has done nothing but talk about baseball this summer since we took him to a Bee's Game. However, recently he got his first set of golf clubs and hasn't stopped wanting to "play golf" since!

Jaxon is 4 Months Old

Jaxon is officially 4 months old!
He had his check up and weighed in at a whoppin' 16 lbs 9 oz and measured 25 1/2 inches. Jaxon is now grabbing toys quite well but is still working on rolling over. His weight beat Mason's 4 month old weigh in by 13 oz!

Our Little Jaxon

Jaxon is a smiler and he is learning to talk a lot more as well as how to grab toys.

Fun, Fun, & More Fun at Soldier Creek

July 9th-12th we headed up to Soldier Creek to spend some time with Eric & Jami's family. The weather was wonderful, which gave us a chance to spend much of our time outside.
Marshall going for a swim to fetch a log Andy threw out for him!
Drying off after a little swim, or should I say fall in the water!
Like Aunt Jami said, "When these two figure this out we'll be in trouble!"

Shooting off rockets with the cousins at the cabin.

Twin Lakes Hike

Our hike to Twin Lakes, near Silver Lake at Brighton. It was beautiful but way to windy to stay long.

Happy 4th of July!

We're proud to be American this July 4th! We attended the annual Sandy Parade and stayed for fireworks afterward. Mason's favorite part no doubt, running after candy tossed out during the parade, he ended up with quite a stash!

FEARLESS

Mason has no fear as he heads down the water slide Grandma Linda and Grandpa Norm gave to him for his birthday! (It has finally been warm enough to get it out, July 3rd, unbelievable!)

Hike to Doughnut Falls

Today we hiked to Doughnut Falls up Big Cottonwood. Mason was awesome, this was his first hike and he hiked the whole way there and back!! That made for a great nap too! Jaxon seemed to like it since he slept peacefully most of the way. What a great way to enjoy the long awaited summer weather!

Arts Festival '09

Well we went to the Arts Festival, the sun shined long enough to get Mason's face painted. But then the festival turned out to be more of a monsoon! So we hung out inside the Leonardo and Mason got to dance his little heart out!!

Fishing at Soldier Creek with the Cousins

Mason had a blast with Joey and Owen at Soldier Creek, despite the unuseasonably wet weather. I don't know that I have ever seen him play so hard!

Utah's Hogle Zoo!

This year's first trip to the zoo. The weather was perfect and we went with Aunt Jenny and Terence. Mason loved looking at all of the animals, but his favorite part was the carousel and the snakes! Imagine that!

Best Buddies

Mason and Jaxon in their pajammas! Mason's new thing is to hold Jaxon for a few seconds. We were lucky to have got both of their faces in the direction of the camera with at least one smile! They're just too darn cute.

Jaxon is 2 Months Old!

Well the measurements are in! Jaxon was 14 lbs & 4 oz and 23 1/2 inches yesterday at his two month visit! Hard to believe it has already been that long. He beat Mason's 2 month weigh in by one ounce! What a big boy!

First Bees Game of the Season!

We went to our first Bee's game of the season on Sunday. Boy was it hot so we had a water bottle to spray and cool off with! Mason got a baseball hat just like dad's too, he thinks it is great!

Mason's Big Boy Bed

Mason went to sleep so quick on his new BIG bed!! We moved the full sized bed into his room May 29th, he was so excited, and he sleeps on it really well! What a cutie!

Jaxon has arrived!

Jaxon arrived one week early by Doctor's orders, on Wednesday April 1st! Weighing in at a healthy 9 lbs 8 oz and measuring 20 1/2 inches. And. . . at his two week check up he was already 10 lbs 7 oz and 21 inches! It seems he hasn't slowed down yet either, we'll find out on Tuesday June 2nd just how much he has grown!
